Carbon Neutral Technology & Waste Management Company Plants Over 2,000 Trees

South Plainfield, NJ: Alliance Disposal, a technology and waste management company, reached an incredible milestone today; the company announced that they have planted over 2,000 trees in recovering forests. Working with partnered non-profit organizations, Alliance Disposal has been able to make a huge impact in the waste management industry. By planting a tree for every dumpster they service, they are able to offset the carbon output from the service vehicle, making their entire company carbon neutral.

After planting 2,000 trees, Alliance Disposal reflected back on their progress and how exciting the journey has been thus far. “Our primary goal with this business is to make a positive impact on the world. With the right people, any company can bring about extraordinary change for the greater good. My team and myself have been fully committed to the global fight against climate change since day one and having planted over 2,000 trees is a huge milestone for us. We can not wait to see what’s in store for the future, as we strive to eliminate waste” said Alliance Disposal’s President, Joseph DiNardi-Mack.

The steps that Alliance Disposal took to successfully reach this goal were carefully organized and implemented:

• With the recent increase in forest fires throughout the country, particularly spanning from Colorado to California, Alliance Disposal set into motion a proposal with One Tree Planted.

• For every dumpster rented through the business, Alliance Disposal makes a donation to One Tree Planted, an organization that specializes in reforestation efforts. Every rental is the equivalent to one tree planted to help heal forests around the world. All current planting is focused on the western United States at this time to help heal the wounds from the forest fires.

• Each tree planted goes even one step further. By planting a tree for every dumpster rental, Alliance Disposal is able to offset the carbon emissions from the service vehicle to achieve carbon neutrality. According to One Tree Planted, a tree can absorb up to 48 pounds of carbon in the atmosphere each year.
