How Does The Rental Process Work in New York?

As we said, convenience and ease are at the heart of our business. That's why our ordering process is simple and only takes a few clicks. We put together the steps of the dumpster rental process, from ordering the bin to getting it picked up and emptied.

Before you even begin the ordering process, you should figure out if you need a dumpster for your project and if you do, what type and size of dumpster you need. The projects that typically require a dumpster generate a ton of waste, so projects like the following are best for dumpster rentals:

  1. Kitchen remodels

  2. Bathroom renovations

  3. House cleanouts

  4. Landscaping projects

  5. Construction work

This list is not complete by any means! If you don't see your project on this list but think you'll need to discard a ton of waste, reach out to us and we can help you figure out the best solution for your situation.

Once you have figured out the size and type of dumpster you'll need to complete your project, you can order your dumpster. Before ordering, you should know a few things like 1) how long you'll need the dumpster, 2) when you want the dumpster dropped off, and 3) where you want the dumpster dropped off. Our bins are delivered via roll-off trucks, which need a clearance space to lower down and drop down the dumpster. A driveway is a good place a lot of customers will place their dumpster, but you can have it placed wherever you want. Just make sure there is at least 60 feet of clearance space in front of your desired drop-off location.

Once you've figured out these details, you can go ahead and order the dumpster through our online portal, or over the phone.

Once you've received your rental, it's time to load it up with your trash! This is a pretty simple process. You can either load it through the door in the rear or over the rim. There are a few things to keep in mind, however. For one, you should make sure to load the dumpster evenly for safety reasons. You should also make sure the dumpster isn't loaded above the rim, as this is a hazard for our drivers and we may not be able to pick it up if it is loaded incorrectly. Lastly, make sure you are only putting the appropriate materials in the bin to avoid any contamination fees.

If you have questions about what can and can't go in the dumpster, check out our guide that provides details about allowed and prohibited items.

Once you are done loading your dumpster, please let us know so we can come by and pick it up. If you don't alert us when you are done, we will not come to pick it up and you may incur extra charges for the additional days you have the dumpster in possession. On the other hand, if you need an extension for any reason, that's perfectly fine. Just reach out to us and let us know how long you'd like an extension. You will only have to pay an additional prorated price per extra day.

Dumpster Sizes

Roll-off dumpster rentals in New York come in four primary sizes: 10, 20, 30, and 40 yards. It is important you pick the best size for your project so that you don't pay for more than what you need, or that you don't choose a dumpster too small for your needs. If you need help choosing the right size roll off bin or have any other questions, please contact us. We are always happy to help you!

NY Specialty Dumpster Rental

We have a wide variety of dumpsters made for different materials, ranging from dirt to roofing dumpsters. The ones listed below are some of our most popular dumpster rentals.

Concrete dumpster rentals are a great resource for any construction or demolition project that generates a significant amount of concrete waste. These dumpsters are designed to handle heavy loads of concrete and other heavy materials, making them ideal for large-scale construction and renovation projects.

Our concrete dumpsters are available in a variety of sizes to meet your specific needs and since concrete is heavy, we don't charge by the weight limits with these bins. You'll receive a flat rate for this type of dumpster, and in comparison to the other rental companies, you'll save some money, too.

Yard waste dumpsters are an ideal solution for homeowners, landscapers, and anyone who generates a significant amount of organic waste from their yard or garden. These dumpsters are designed to handle a variety of yard waste materials, including grass clippings, leaves, tree branches, and other types of organic debris.

By using a yard waste dumpster, you can dispose of your yard waste quickly and efficiently, while also doing your part to help the environment.

Household item dumpsters are designed to help homeowners get rid of large, bulky items that cannot be disposed of through regular garbage collection. These items may include furniture, mattresses, appliances, and other types of household goods that are no longer needed.

If you are completing an estate cleanout, an extreme deep cleaning, or just reorganizing your home, a household item dumpster is perfect for you.

By using a household item dumpster, you can easily dispose of these large items without having to worry about transporting them to a landfill or recycling facility yourself. Our dumpsters are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate items of all shapes and sizes, and our team of waste management experts can help you select the right dumpster for your needs.

How Does Material and Weight Affect Pricing?

Roll-off dumpsters come in a variety of sizes, such as 10-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard, and 40-yard, to accommodate the specific waste disposal needs of a project. Beyond size, they also come with various weight limits that are measured in tons. When you rent a dumpster from us, the weight limit is already bundled into the price, so you know exactly what you're getting and how much you're paying for it when you place an order.

The dumpster can be loaded with various types of waste, including construction debris, household waste, green waste, and household furniture items. It's important to note two things--one, some materials may not be accepted in roll-off dumpsters and are illegal to dispose of in a dumpster. These materials include hazardous waste, batteries, tires, and electronic waste. And two, certain dumpsters cannot accept mixed materials. For example, a yard waste dumpster should not be a mix of greenery and household trash.
