    Is A Permit Needed To Rent A Dumpster in Morris County?

    In Morris County, dumpster rentals can be placed wherever you have space. That being said, there are some restrictions if you are planning on placing it on the county street. In this case, you may be required by Morris County, or your specific town, to apply for and display a permit.

    If you are planning on placing your rental on your private property, like your driveway, you generally do not need to be concerned with permit regulations.     The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority operates on an all-in-one, single-stream recycling system. This allows residents to combine all of the allowable recyclables listed below into one recycling container. They make your life easy and handle the tedious separation process, that is, as long as you do your part to recycle!

    Morris County provides residents with a number of different hazardous waste collection events and resources to aid in the disposal of any hazardous or electronic waste. Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority typically hosts four different hazardous waste disposal events each year.

    These disposal events are restricted to Morris County New Jersey residents and are held from 9 am-2 pm.
